Hand Painting
Once your house sign has been cast and cleaned it is prepared for enameling in the background colour of your choice. The motif and house name and or house numbers are then carefully hand painted.

Each house sign we make is hand painted. It is unique and personalised to your requirements.

Some of the motifs can take a couple of hours to paint depending on the level of detail. 

A variety of background colours are available; black, red, green, blue and white. The colour choice will have a bearing on the final finished painting as the motifs need to stand out from the background colour. We do try to keep the motif colours as true to life as possible.

Different text colours will also make a difference to how your finished address sine will look. As a rule of thumb we tend to use white as the text colour as it stands out from the darker house signs and can be seen from further away.
